Poison Spyder Customs Trail Cage

Just before the Tellico trip I did a lot of work to my Jeep. I didn't need to do most . . . ok I didn't need to do any of this in order to go to Tellico, but it was a good excuse :)
I took a lot of time deciding what I wanted to do in Tellico and what would be the best mods so I could get the most out of the trip. I did some research online, but the most valuable thing I did was talk people that had been and experienced Tellico.
Much of the work did nothing to improve my capabilities in Tellico, it was either a deal i couldn't pass up, or it was just one of those cool things you have to have.
I'll be writing about most everything I did, and now that we are all back from tellico, I'll let you know if the work prior to Tellico was worth it. I was hoping I wouldn't need it, but just I case I though it would be a good idea to improve my roll cage for some added protection. I decided to go with the Poison Spyder Customs Trail Cage with the help of Rob and the other guys over at Xtreme. The cage is really a nice kit and an inexpensive way to add some very good protection. The kit comes in pieces and needs to be welded together and to your existing cage, have an experienced welder do this, you are protecting your life.

Gear Install - from 3.73 to 4.56

When I bought my Jeep it had 3.73 gears and 33" tires, I wanted to get larger tires so I decided to upgrade my gears. If you are new to all this and need a background on "gears" please go here first.

Poison Spyder Customs Rocker Knockers

I just finished installing Poison Spyder Customs Rocker Knockers on my wife's TJ and the install went much smoother than i expected. Prior to purchasing the Rocker Knockers, I did a lot of research on the installation so hopefuly I wouln't run into any surprises. The biggest complaint I found was the difficulty in cutting the body mount bushings, this has to be done because the Rocker Knockers install between the bushing and the body. In my install this was not really any big deal. This is what I did in my install.

Rules And Regulations For Club Rides

No weapons or firearms.
Members must display courtesy and common sense around people.
Tread lightly.
Illegal drug use is strictly forbidden.
No drinking is allowed during trail rides.
1. No one under the legal drinking age shall be permitted to drink. This will be strictly enforced.
2. Surrendering of motor vehicle?s keys shall be mandatory in the event of excessive drinking.
No littering. Take home what you bring.
Campsite shall be cleaned before you leave.
Camp fires shall be fully extinguished before leaving area.
All members shall be responsible for all their guests. Guests should be kept to a minimum.
Owner of vehicle is responsible for his own vehicle.
All pets must be kept in control at all times.
Recommended safety equipment.
1. CB Radio
2. First Aid Kit
3. Tow Hooks (One at each end of the vehicle (bolted, not welded) ? minimum of two ?? grade 8 bolts.)
4. Fire Extinguisher
5. Tow Strap
